Biography
I graduated from Rushford-Peterson High School in 2000. I then continued my education at Winona State University. While there I played basketball and football for the Warriors and was a member of the student athlete advisory committee. I also did an internship in the finance department at Merchants Bank, where I discovered my real passion was helping people through financial planning. In 2004 I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. After college I worked as an assistant to an independent financial advisor. In the spring of 2007 I started my own independent practice.
I am a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart and currently serve on the church council as the secretary. I have also been a volunteer firefighter for the Rushford Fire Department since 2009.
When time permits, I enjoy being in the outdoors scouting and hunting deer and turkeys. As a way for me to promote the future of deer hunting, I serve as the President for the Southeast Minnesota Quality Deer Management Association.
